Did you ever wonder why nearly all computers are beige? Or why all firetrucks are red? I ask this because this particular restroom in an authentic Chinese restaurant featured sleek black toilets and urinals - and they were beautiful. Why do 99% of the restrooms you see, then, have white toilets? Perhaps I shouldn't be complaining. After all, white toilets are sort of "white glove" test for all patrons to see just how clean everything is. Anywho, back to the topic on hand.

The lack of visible hinges or "push plates" on the doors presented a dilemma as to which side to push to enter. Fortunately I guessed right and will spare you the embarassment by telling you to push on the left. The bowl sinks on solid black pedestals were a wonderful touch and the bubbleless water that poured from the spout was quite soothing - though I noticed some excess splash. The slate tile lended a earthy feel in sharp contrast to the ultra-modern and geometric forms of the sink and mirror.

Liquid soap and paper towels were suitably stocked
